Thomas Proctor married Charlotte Brent in Richmond, VA. They had one son:

    Oscar remarried Mary Jane Morton, born April 21, 1830 in Harrisonville, KY (daughter of Charles Morton). They had ten children: Charlotte (December 7, 1854 - October 7, 1856), Emily Parker (born September 21, 1860), Mary L. (January 15, 1862 - July 18, 1869), Charlotte M. (born March 17, 1869), Josephine (born December 17, 1866), Chris or Charles Thomas (born August 28, 1858), Peck (born March 17, 1871), Lucy Lucila (born May 23 or 25, 1856), Fanny (born October 16, 1865), and Tina (born December 12, 1867)

      • Lola (1890 - 1922). She married Albert Boyer (1892-1922). Albert's parents were Lafayette (1868 - 1939) and Lucy Boyer (1872 - 1914). Lola and Albert had four children who were raised by separate families after their death:
        • Howard William (Bill) Boyer Wells (born January 17, 1920). He married Bonnie Lou Bicker (November 7, 1921 - November 21, 1986) on November 7, 1942 in Huntersfield, GA. Bonnie was the only child of William Dewey Bicker and Neva G. Carrol of Navuoo, IL. They had one son (Terry) . Bill is now married to Rita (born January 14, 1923. Parents: Joseph T. and Lucy K. Harmuth). Rita and Bill were married July 19, 1992:
          • Terry Lee Wells (born July 5, 1944 in Quincy, IL). He married Janet Denena Evans (born October 5, 1946 in Ft. Monmouth, NJ) on March 9, 1968 in McLean, VA. They have two sons:
            • Todd William (born December 5, 1969 in Falls Church, VA). He married Emily White Hazelton on February 1, 1997 in Portland, OR
            • Scott Allen (born May 25, 1974 in Memphis, TN)
        • Elmo Boyer. He had two sons:

        • Lucille (Dolly) Boyer Puskar, born February 22, 1918 and died August 23, 1974. She had three children:

Charles B. Wells (born in Pennsylvania on June 29, 1829 and died September 14, 1913). He married Sarah Ann Quigg (born in Pennsylvania on April 22, 1839 and died April 24, 1931) on March 6, 1857 in Adams County, Illinois. They had six children:

• William Henry Wells (Dick's Grandfather). He was born May 13, 1873 and died November 6, 1928. He married Clara M. Proctor (1883 - 1963). They had one stepson (Howard William (Boyer)- see above). They also had one child:
  • Douglas Russell Wells (born August 10, 1906, died March 8, 1982). He married Marjorie Marian Sprague (daughter of Nellie Caddick) on January 19, 1931 in Quincy, IL. Majorie was born on September 4, 1908 and died May 3, 1988. They had two children:
    • William Richard (Dick) Wells was born March 30, 1934 in Quincy, IL and died October 14, 1997 in Ocala, FL. He married Nancy Jean Thatcher (click here to see Nancy's family tree), born July 8, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN. They were married on June 9, 1956 in Mount Vernon, IL. They had three children:
      • Kathy Ann, born July 9, 1958. Kathy married Michael Pagoria on July 25, 1981 in Quincy, IL. They have two children:
        • Christopher Michael, born August 4, 1983 in Albuquerque, NM
        • Aaron Douglas, born January 16, 1985 in Melbourne, FL
      • Carol Sue, born September 19, 1961 in Quincy, IL. Carol married John Norsworthy on August 2, 1985. Now divorced. They had two children:

Nancy has one sister, Barbara Ann Thatcher. Barbara was born January 10, 1940 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She married Robert Lawrence Pratt (born December 8, 1936 in Dewitt, New York) in Iowa City, Iowa on September 26, 1959. They have two children:

• Diane Patricia Pratt (born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 26, 1960). She married Russell Lepkowski (born July 19, 1956 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 30, 1983. They have one child:
